【摘要】:Thistestmethodisanacceleratedtesttodetermineifacopperalloyproductwillbesusceptibletostress-corrosioncrackingwhenexposedtoaparticularatmosphericconditionduringservicewiththeappropriaterisklevelx2014;seeAnnexA1.5.1.1Thistestmethodisgenerallyintendedtodetermineifacopperalloyproductwillcrackbecauseofinternalstresseswhensubjectedtothetest,andisnotintendedfortestingassembliesunderappliedstress.Ifusedforthispurpose,itshallbeforinformationonlyandnotacauseforrejectionoftheassembly,itscomponentparts,ortheoriginalmillproduct.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaproceduretodeterminethepresenceofresidualstressesinwroughtcopperalloyproductsthatmayleadtostresscorrosioncracking.Anammoniavaporatmosphereisusedasanacceleratedtest.1.2Thistestmethodisonlysuitableforproductsfabricatedfromcopperalloysthatareknowntobesusceptibletostresscorrosioncrackinginammoniavaporatmospheres.Itisintendedtocreateanenvironmentalconditionofreproducibleseverity.Note1Itiswellknownthatthecriticalstepinthecrackingmechanismisthedevelopmentofanenvironmentinthecondensatefilmthatoccursonthesurfaceofthetestspecimen,andisrichincoppercomplexions.1.3TheseverityofthistestmethoddependsuponthepHofthecorrosivesolution.Inaregivenfourdifferentatmospherestowhichtheproductmaybeexposed,andtheappropriatepHofthesolutiontobeusedforthetest,dependingontherisklevelassociatedwiththeintendedapplication.1.3.1TheappropriatepHvalueforthetestshallbespecifiedintheproductspecification,orasperestablishedagreementbetweenthesupplierandpurchaser,withrespecttothealloyanditsintendedapplication.1.4UnitsThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
