【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwearmetalsandcontaminantsinusedlubricatingoilsandusedhydraulicfluidsbyrotatingdiscelectrodeatomicemissionspectroscopy(RDE-AES).Thistestmethodprovidesaquickindicationforabnormalwearandthepresenceofcontaminationinneworusedlubricantsandhydraulicfluids.Thistestmethodusesoil-solublemetalsforcalibrationanddoesnotpurporttorelatequantitativelythevaluesdeterminedasinsolubleparticlestothedissolvedmetals.Analyticalresultsareparticlesizedependentandlowresultsmaybeobtainedforthoseelementspresentinusedoilsamplesaslargeparticles.Thetestmethodiscapableofdetectingandquantifyingelementsresultingfromwearandcontaminationrangingfromdissolvedmaterialstoparticlesapproximately10minsize.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thepreferredunitsaremg/kg(ppmbymass).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
