【摘要】:Thispracticepresentsmethodologyforthesettingofanupperconfidenceboundregardingaunknownfractionorquantitynon-conforming,orarateofoccurrencefornonconformities,incaseswherethemethodofattributesisusedandthereisazeroresponseinasample.Threecasesareconsidered.Thesampleisselectedfromaprocessoraverylargepopulationofdiscreteitems,andthenumberofnon-conformingitemsinthesampleiszero.Asampleofitemsisselectedatrandomfromafinitelotofdiscreteitems,andthenumberofnon-conformingitemsinthesampleiszero.Thesampleisaportionofacontinuum(time,space,volume,areaetc.)andthenumberofnon-conformitiesinthesampleiszero.Allowanceismadeformisclassificationerrorinthisstandard,butonlywhenmisclassificationratesarewellunderstoodorknownandcanbeapproximatednumerically.
