【摘要】:ThispartofISO4499givesguidelinesforthemeasurementofhardmetalgrainsizebymetallographictechniquesonlyusingopticalorelectronmicroscopy.ItisintendedforsinteredWC/Cohardmetals(alsocalledcementedcarbidesorcermets)containingprimarilyWCasthehardphase.Itisalsointendedformeasuringthegrainsizeanddistributionbythelinear-intercepttechnique.ThispartofISO4499essentiallycoversfourmaintopics:?calibrationofmicroscopes,tounderpintheaccuracyofmeasurements;?linearanalysistechniques,toacquiresufficientstatisticallymeaningfuldata;?analysismethods,tocalculaterepresentativeaveragevalues;?reporting,tocomplywithmodernqualityrequirements.ThepartofISO4499issupportedbyameasurementcasestudytoillustratetherecommendedtechniques(seeAnnexA).ThepartofISO4499isnotintendedforthefollowing.?Measurementsofsizedistribution.?Recommendationsonshapemeasurements.Furtherresearchisneededbeforerecommendationsforshapemeasurementcanbegiven.Measurementsofcoercivityaresometimesusedforgrain-sizemeasurement,butthiscurrentguideisconcernedonlywithametallographicmeasurementmethod.Itisalsowrittenforsinteredhardmetalsandnotforcharacterisingpowders.However,themethodcould,inprinciple,beusedformeasuringtheaveragesizeofpowdersthataresuitablymountedandsectioned.
