【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthepreparationofallformsoftechnicalproductspecification.Therequirementscross-refersubstantiallytoInternationalandEuropeanStandardswhichhavebeenimplementedasBritishStandardseitherintheBSISO,BSEN,BSENISOseriesorasInternationalStandardsre-numberedasBritishStandards.TherequirementsaresupplementedbycommentaryandrecommendationsontechnicalmattersthatareconsideredtobeofassistancetousersofthisstandardintheUKandwhichdonotconflictwithpublishedInternationalStandardsinthisfield.AnnexAandAnnexBlistcross-referencedstandardsandotherdocuments,normativeandinformativerespectively,byprimaryreference,indicatingtheStandardsKit(seeNote)inwhichtheycanbefound.AnnexC(normative)providesalistofstandardsymbolsandabbreviations.AnnexD(normative)setsoutrequirementsforenhanceddocumentsecurityandAnnexE(normative)identifiesthemaindifferencesinapproachbetweentheprovisionsofthisstandardandthoseoftheAmericanSocietyofMechanicalEngineers(ASME)Y14.5series.AnnexF(informative)providesasummaryreportontheconceptsthathaveunderwrittenthedevelopmentoftechnicalproductspecification(TPS)anditsprimaryconstituent,geometricalspecification,todateanddiscussessomeofthedriversforfuturechange.NOTEThisBritishStandardisavailableinCD-ROMformat,inwhichformitisaccompaniedbythefullrangeofcross-referencedstandards,allhyperlinkedtotherelevantreference(s)withinthetextoftheprimarystandard.Whenusedinpaperform,itisnecessarythatthisstandardbeusedinconjunctionwiththerelevantcross-referencedstandards.Tofacilitatethis,fourStandardsKitsareavailableunderthegeneralheadingBS8888,TechnicalProductSpecification,witheachkitcomprisedofagroupofthecross-referencedstandardsrelatingtoaparticularaspectofthescopeofBS8888.
